Maternity of Mary

Mission Statement: 

To establish the dignity of motherhood by providing mothers in need with shelter, food and an exposure to life in a functional Catholic family environment, regardless of race, creed, color, age or religious affiliation. Here they can learn to raise their children to be productive, God loving members of our society.

The Maternity of Mary Homes provide a Catholic home atmosphere for the physical, emotional and spiritual well being of women and teen girls of all denominations, who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy and difficult situation. The long term support we offer focuses on crisis Intervention, maternity and transitional housing, life skills training and mentoring when needed.

We live according to the teachings of the Church in our homes because through the authority handed down by Christ, the Church sets forth certain moral guidelines by which we can live well. Through exposure to a Catholic Christian spiritual atmosphere within our homes, the women we seek to serve learn how to live in accord with the moral standards by which they and their children will become God loving, productive members of our society.

We rely on Mother Teresa's charism of Total Trust in Divine Providence, and will do no fundraising. We are private 501C-3 non-profit corporation which has been functioning in the area of crisis intervention for mothers since 1993. Currently we have housing available for maternity assistance in the Colorado Springs area and the Denver Metropolitan area. We also have transitional housing available in the Colorado Springs area.
